Read More →To calculate BMI manually, you need your weight in kilograms and height in meters. Use the formula: BMI = weight (kg) ÷ (height (m) × height (m)). For example, if you weigh 70kg and are 1.75m tall: 70 ÷ (1.75 × 1.75) = 22.86. This falls in the normal weight category (18.5-24.9).
BMI measures weight relative to height and estimates total body mass. Body fat percentage specifically measures fat mass vs. lean mass. A muscular athlete might have a high BMI but low body fat. For accurate health assessment, consider both measurements together.
Our BMR calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation, which is 95% accurate for most people. However, factors like muscle mass, genetics, and thyroid function can affect actual BMR. For precise measurements, metabolic testing is recommended.
Yes! Pregnancy due date = First day of last menstrual period + 280 days (40 weeks). For irregular cycles, add 266 days to conception date. Our calculator automates this using Naegele's Rule, the standard medical calculation method.
Basic formula: Weight (kg) × 30-40 ml = Daily water in ml. Our calculator uses: 30ml/kg for low activity, 35ml/kg for moderate, 40ml/kg for high activity. Divide by 1000 to get liters. Example: 70kg × 35 = 2450ml (2.45L).
